Our Special Weekend

On Nov. 8th and 9th, we had a bunch of family come into town for Carter's baptism and Wyatt's blessing. It was a special couple of days for us.

Carter is such a great kid -- mature beyond his 8 years. He is a strong leader around his friends and isn't afraid to do what is right, despite what others are doing.

He's also just a lot of fun to have around. He likes telling jokes. He takes uninhibited pleasure from simple things -- playing boardgames, drawing pictures, dressing up in superhero gear, inventing, and discovering cool new books.

We love him so much and are glad to be his parents.

Wyatt has been a really good baby. It is wonderful to have him in our family. We look forward to getting to know his personality.

So far, we know that he likes sleeping and dislikes gastrointestinal pressure. He also finds bright lights to be a huge distraction when he wants to sleep.

If we had to guess, we'd say that Wyatt's going to be mellow and easygoing.

And finally, here's our whole crew.

What a good lookin' bunch! We miss you guys but are happy you are enjoying ID. First comes baptism, then before you know it he'll be passing the sacrament then heading off to some unknown part of the world as a missionary. Enjoy it while you can.....

Wyatt is so cute! Congratulations to Carter on his baptism. Can you believe you have an 8-year-old?
