When I had him take it off, Taylor wanted it back and asked if he could put his costume back on so many times ("Mom, now can I put my costume on?" "How about now?" "Now?" "When can I put my costume on?" "Is it later yet?") that I ended up threatening to take it away from him if he asked even one more time.
Of course, he asked for his costume about three minutes later, and being the great follow-through mother I am, I took his costume and put it high on a shelf.
Not to be discouraged, Taylor made his own costume with paper, crayons, and scissors on Friday. He certainly deserves points for perseverance and creativity.
I especially like how the mask was made to fit over his glasses.

Tell Taylor that his favorite aunt thinks he is very very clever. What a fantastic costume. I bet he was very proud!
